Supporting our businesses

The trade war launched by the United States is creating real uncertainty for Oakville businesses—and we need to make sure Town Hall is doing everything it can to help.

As Mayor, I’ll work with Council to streamline the process for opening or expanding a business, review our business licensing fees, and create a Business Concierge Service—one point of contact at Town Hall to help businesses get things done.

And as soon as possible, I’ll establish an Oakville Business Advisory Committee, bringing local business leaders directly to the table.

We can’t control what happens in Washington—but we can control what happens here.
