A Plan to Move Oakville Forward

Oakville needs experienced leadership with new energy and new ideas. My plan is focused on protecting what makes Oakville special while making Town Hall more efficient, accountable and responsive.

Responsible Growth

Fight provincially imposed growth, protect established neighbourhoods and natural areas, and ensure new development is supported by the roads, transit, parks, schools and services it requires.

Respecting Your Tax Dollars

Review spending, reduce duplication and ensure infrastructure is repaired or replaced based on actual need. I will also pursue a smaller Council and create a Commission on Business and Digital Efficiency to find savings and modernize services.

Bringing Residents Back to Town Hall

Restore meaningful resident advisory committees, including committees for business and seniors, so residents and community experts have a stronger voice before decisions are made.

Supporting Local Business

Make Oakville easier and more affordable to do business in by streamlining approvals, reviewing licensing fees, creating a Business Concierge Service and establishing a Business Advisory Committee.

A Modern Town Hall

Make municipal services mobile-first, open Town Hall to improve customer service, create a single household account for Town services and expand digital opportunities for residents to engage with their local government.

Public Safety

Keep Oakville safe with stronger enforcement, appropriate resources for police and by-law officers, new tools to address issues such as illegal fireworks and excessive vehicle noise, and safer public spaces.

Opportunities for Youth

Create more welcoming spaces and opportunities for teenagers, build on initiatives such as the youth room at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, and give young people a greater voice in their community.

Supporting Seniors

Create a real Seniors Advisory Committee, expand opportunities for recreation and community connection, connect youth volunteers with seniors and explore making Oakville a more dementia-friendly community.

Protecting Our Environment

Protect our waterfront, creeks, tree canopy, green spaces and wildlife habitat while standing up for local environmental protections and responsible growth.

Responsible Data Centre Development

Push for clear provincial and federal rules before major data centre development proceeds and ensure concerns around energy, water, noise, emergency response and environmental impacts are properly addressed.

Better Transportation

Invest in the roads and transportation infrastructure Oakville needs, improve traffic management and signal coordination, and make decisions based on evidence, safety and how residents actually move around our community.

Stronger Local Democracy

Oppose the unnecessary concentration of power at Town Hall, strengthen transparency and accountability, restore meaningful public participation and ensure major decisions are made openly.

Oakville doesn't have to choose between protecting what we love and embracing new ideas. We can do both.

It's time to move Oakville out of the middle lane.
